Our Clinical Team2024-11-12T22:08:50+00:00

We believe psychiatric care should be affordable and accessible to all communities

The average psychiatric care provider in New York is over 40 and caucasian, and the average cost of an appointment is more than $400. Finding affordable, empathetic care is harder than it should be and we believe in a better way.

We offer virtual access to a diverse clinical team who specialize in culturally competent care and medication management across a range of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, trauma, substance use and alcohol use disorders, mood disorders, and more.

Meet the Clinical Team

Our diverse team of ANCC board certified psychiatric nurse practitioners are carefully vetted to provide the best and most comprehensive care across a range of psychiatric conditions.

What is a nurse practitioner in psychiatry?2023-08-24T20:35:17+00:00

A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner manages psychiatric medication management. At ReKlame, your Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner can make clinical diagnoses and prescribe medication to safely and effectively provide treatment.

This is different from therapy, which is more about talking through your feelings with a therapist to learn better ways to cope. So, they both help your mental health, but in different ways: one with medicine, the other with conversation. We currently do not offer therapy at ReKlame.

What is Psychiatric Medication Management?2023-08-24T20:35:36+00:00

Psychiatric medication management is when a psychiatric nurse practitioner ensures your mental health medications are safe and effective. They assess your needs, prescribe medication, check how you’re doing, and adjust as needed.

How is it different from therapy?
Therapy is talking through thoughts and feelings with a mental health professional to learn coping skills.
